I could wear this to a hang out with friends, exploring the town or for a day that involves lots of walking!
For this look, I went with a striped sailor t-shirt, which is one of my staple tees, and sneakers.
I never used to be a huge sneaker person, I’m still not, but I wear them a little more now.
If this type of look is not up your alley, ballet flats could also work, as would espadrilles, especially in the summer.
Another casual look you can wear with your pencil skirt is with a jean jacket, a light gauzy top.
The top doesn’t need to be lack If you want to dress this look up a little more, throw some heels and you will look a little more polished.
