Anti-Cancer Green Juice Recipe
This recipe makes about 64 oz of juice.
- 2 large cucumbers
- 1 head of celery
- 1 head of spinach
- Handful of watercress
- 1 head curly kale
- 1 head black dinosaur kale
- A small handful of dandelion greens (Optional)
- 1 head romaine lettuce
- 5-6 lemons
Run everything through your juicer. Depending on the size of the juice jug, you may have to do the juicing in batches. Enjoy as much as you want and store the rest in airtight containers such as Epica Glass Beverage Bottles. While the juice is most potent when freshly made, it can be stored in the refrigerator for 2 -3 days. Don’t worry; it won’t stick around for long. You’ll notice immediately how wonderful it makes you feel, and you’ll want to keep drinking it. Your friends and family will notice too. Fortunately, there’s enough to share.
- Buy organic produce if possible. Wash everything thoroughly before juicing.
- Dandelion greens are bitter. While they are very detoxing and great for your liver, you may not want that extra bitterness. The juice is still very potent without them.
- If using a centrifugal juicer such as the Breville Juice Fountain, juice the greens at low speed. Otherwise, they tend to just get chopped up instead of juiced.
- In the video, the woman uses an Omega Vert low-speed juicer. This is a better option for juicing greens. If using this or a similar juicer such as the Vitamix, she recommends straining the juice. I prefer not to because I like to have that extra bit of fiber. It’s your call based on personal preference.
- Knowing how to prevent cancer with this anti-cancer green juice is a good start. However, you also need to pay attention to everything else that goes in your mouth.
